   We dined here after my boyfriend sand I had a great evening at Longwood Gardens. When we were sat we didn’t have anyone acknowledge that we were there for over ten minutes. The manager came and filled our water glasses and took our order for a bottle of wine. Still have t had a server come to the table. The same Maher took our dinner order…. Still no server. We started with three mushroom soup (amazing ) and the mussels. A server came up to us the clean the dishes aand at after they were empty for awhile and asked if we wanted desert menus … I told her we didn’t even have our dinner yet and she just said ohhhh and walked away. Dinner came out and it was good. We stacked our plates when we were done and waited a long time for someone to come and clear the plates and ask to see a desert menu. The server at some point changed out of her uniform and I guess es waiting for us to finish before she left The same girl took our plates and asked if we wanted the check. I told her I need to the check and the manager please . The check came within 30 seconds after we asked the fastest service we had all night. When the manager came over she did apologize for the wait of the food and we told her about the service. She made sure we had some desert to take home. The service was super disappointing when the food and ambiance is delightful.

   We reserved one of the tents and it proved perfect for our group of 5. Service was great and food was largely very good and served in a timely manner. Will return!

   Half of the items on the menu were unavailable only told to us after looking at the menu for 20 mins. Wasn’t given bread. Never came to refill water or drinks. Terrible

   One one the worst experiences I have ever had here. Typically we love the place so we were disappointed. 5 main entrees weren’t being offered. Service was super slow throughout the whole night and just a general disconnect.. super bummer bc we were looking forward to the text experience but would never recommend. Oh yeah - showed up heater wasn’t on.. took 3 ppl to figure it out then quickly got too hot & none of the candles in the tent were turned when arrived.

   We dined in one of the woodland tents, which was cozy and fun. Our servers were terrific and the food was excellent.

   We had a wonderful lunch with our very dear friends. The cafe was beautiful! Such unique and creative winter decor. But as always, the food was the main attraction. Our cheese plate was delicious with a great selection of cheeses and crackers, as well as the flower pot bread for spreading the softer cheeses. Everyone loved their entrees (avocado toast, salmon tartine and Caesar salad). Our server Brooke, along with her helpers made our lunch a very relaxing and fun time. And a BIG shoutout to those who accommodated our request for a table in a quiet area;)

   We have been to Terrain many times with our family of seven (7) people. The service, food, and setting are all exceptional. We shall return.

    Reserved in the woodland village. It was very atmospheric. However- it was 30 min before anyone came to take a drink order. Love the Terrain cafe - but after many years of coming- the food is still just a B-. We just love the environment.
