   Very enjoyable anniversary celebration. Good food and drink, excellent service, especially our waitperson, and the carrot cake was the bomb!! We will be back.

   I made reservations and was sat 20 minutes late despite the restaurant not being packed and having showed up on time. My waiter, Flavio, abandoned me and one of the managers had to give me a new server halfway through my meal because he just was not coming back to my table at all to serve me. I also had to send my filet back four times before it was presented to me at a medium rare temperature.

   I had high expectations of Texas De Brazil. I was disappointed. The steak that I had was not very tender. I tried several kinds and the steak was ok but nothing like Ruth Chris. I would spend the extra money and opt for Ruth Chris next time. I had a salad plate that was covered in ranch dressing and the man started cutting meat onto a plate covered in ranch dressing. The meal was expensive for what we got. I can say I have been there but doubtful I would go again.

   The server never came by the table until it was time to ask for dessert we had to ask another server for water and extra side dishes

   I want to thank Alex for going above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was perfect. His genuine hospitality and impeccable service made all the difference. Alex, knew the menu, offered great recommendations, and genuinely cared about his customer. John was also a clomplete gem, serving our table with outstanding service with meat selctions that were out of this world. Alex and John Bravo!

    I dined at the Texas de Brazil in Detroit years ago. I enjoyed the whole experience. When the restaurant in Ann Arbor opened, I was excited to visit. I made a reservation for my wife and I. She looked forward to the evening. When we arrived we were seated immediately. Our server introduced herself, took our drink order, and explained the dining process. I cannot help but compare this location to the one in Detroit. The salad bar was good, but not excellent. There weren't enough items to make a salad or a crudite plate. The gauchos made the rounds with a large variety of meats. Selecting proved difficult because most seemed to be served medium rare. Some of the selections were too salty for my taste. We both sampled several selections and were left disappointed. The cost of the evening did not balance with the enjoyment of our meal.
