   The salad bar, waitstaff and food was awestruck this is the 2nd time we have had our annual party after the holidays for all of the old market carriage drivers at Texas de Brazil and we were not disappointed great all around experience

   We have been here twice now and have loved both times. The salad bar is phenomenal. Everything tastes so fresh. Our server was great. She never let our drinks go empty and checked in on us multiple times. I am not a huge fan of meat, but my husband loves it. I feel like this is a great compromise. I can get all the sides I want with small portions of meat, while my husband will mainly eat the meats. The ambiance is a little dark for my liking, but the food and service make it all worth it.

   This was our second visit to this establishment. Our initial experience was quite disappointing, but we decided to give it another chance, as our first visit occurred shortly after their opening and they may have been working through some initial challenges. During this visit, the experience began positively: we were seated promptly and our server was courteous. After enjoying items from the salad bar, we turned our card over to indicate our readiness for the meat service. However, we noticed that several servers passed our table with meat but did not approach us, even with our card displayed. When our server checked in, we informed her that we had not yet received any meat. She assured us that she would notify the manager. After an additional wait of 15 minutes, no servers had approached us. When the manager came to check on our meal, we expressed our concerns about not receiving any meat and explained that servers continued to bypass our table. She promised to send someone over immediately. Unfortunately, we waited another 10-15 minutes without any service. At this point, feeling quite hungry, I returned to the salad bar for more food. The manager checked in again, and upon hearing we still had not been served, she sent several servers to our table at last. After we finished our meal, the server brought us the check, and we provided our card for payment. However, after we left, we received a phone call from the restaurant indicating that our card had not been processed and we needed to make a payment. I inquired whether it was possible to take a card payment over the phone, but the response was negative. I was then presented with alternatives: purchasing a gift card online, using a cash app to transfer money to the server, or returning to the restaurant — none of which were convenient options. Ultimately, we drove back from West Omaha to settle our bill. We were not offered any discounts or reimbursements for this horrible experience. We will not be back.

   I usually love this place. Salad bar was still great. Unfortunately, the meat servers did not get the assignment. I like it when they carve thin slices off the meat. This time they just thunked down the whole piece of sirloin on my plate so about 1% of the meat was good but 99% was raw so wasted. Better training of staff needed!!

    I was very disappointed with the meat served as it was overly salty and not good quality meaning it was tough and just not as good as it used to be. I treated my family to Christmas dinner, it wasn’t cheap and had higher expectations . This was not my first time doing this so it was very disappointing to say the least. Next year I’ll be dining elsewhere unfortunately !
