The art of simplicity – creating Italian inspired dishes with focus on fresh ingredients, creative recipes and presentations that tease the senses. Twirled onto a fork, an array of homemade pastas inspired by traditional recipes.

the Albert is a playground for the senses, where guests revel in the season’s finest offerings and peak flavors in a room filled with self-discovery—from science novels and vintage copper pots to Surrealist murals along the walls. the Albert showcases an ultra-seasonal menu—selecting high quality, locally sourced ingredients, from both nearby farms and the urban, rooftop garden program that sits atop the building. This garden captures Chef Chiappetti's culinary vision, where he takes farm-to-table to a whole other level—integrating nature and seasonality and bringing freshness to the dishes he creates.

It wasn't a busy night and I just ate at the bar. The bartender was attentive as a waiter and I got my drink and food at a reasonable pace. The pasta portion was a bit smaller than expected, but actually a reasonable portion give that you might want to have an appetizer. I got the garlic bread with gouda sauce and that was really good too.

We enjoyed breakfast at The Albert twice in a short trip, it was that good! The stimulating decor keeps the mind curious while sipping on well-made lattes. Breakfast menu is small but thoughtful and not lacking. Egg sandwich was a perfect combination of flavor with a flare of spice and lemon ricotta pancakes are second to none. French toast was nice but the recommendation to combine with the maple bacon topped it off. Our sweet server, Elizabeth, took care of us both days and was a wonderful sparkle of spirit and smiles. Thanks to The Albert for a lovely experience!

It was the worst buffet I have ever seen or experienced in my entire existence!!! I was truly disappointed and ashamed to have my family eat that stuff! It was poorly made poorly presented with few options and definitely not Italian as it was stated. The dishes were absolutely awful! I have been to many buffet in my life including the one in Las Vegas, in Italy, in Dubai, in Paris and in the Chicago Suburbs… well this one was the very worst of all. I have been to buffet in hotels in Kentucky that were by far 10 times better… this was awful! I really had the worst experience and worst thanksgiving!!! I wish I would have just left when I saw that sad ham on that plate… it’s a shame this place is even in business!!!! The food was bad tasting and the presentation was terrible…

Everything was so so good. We came for the Thanksgiving buffet and were not disappointed. Food was tasty and there was so much to choose from. We just wish the dishes were labeled but that wasn’t a big issue.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed. We were winding down a trip to the City and this was our last night. It was a perfect way to spend our final evening.

We arrived for a nightcap and some dessert. The flourless chocolate cake was delicious and a great portion size! The ambiance reminded me of a library/speakeasy and was a great way to end the evening.

Based on pictures on Open Table and Yelp this looked like a fun place to go while downtown. I did think the food was good but portions where very small for the price.. $5 per Ravioli maybe more for my Cappellacci ( I did ask for almonds on side.. did not get that). They tasted good. The mushroom side had no crumb on top and seemed almost like a soup? We left with a $100 bill and still hungry. We saw the waiter for the order and no time afterwards until we wanted to go home and get the check and had to ask another waiter to find our waiter. The table next to us had the same problem with him as well.
