The Amalfi Llama reimagines the culinary landscape by seamlessly merging the allure of a rustic live-fire steakhouse with the flavors of Italian cuisine, a culinary haven where genuine cooking, down-to-earth cuisine and stylish flair intertwine. Guests embark on a journey from Southern Patagonia to the Mediterranean coast of Italy as they indulge in a multisensory experience that transcends boundaries – from the soothing cream decor to the intimate ambiance of crackling embers accompanied by the melodies of vintage Italian vinyls. Embracing the essence of a modern farmhouse, The Amalfi Llama revolves around an open parrilla grill and wood-burning oven, harnessing fire, smoke, coals and embers to craft dishes. The restaurant’s ethos also meets design with Latin American and Mediterranean influences, resulting in an inviting environment adorned with light woods, natural light and subtly elegant finishes, defying traditional steakhouse and Italian restaurant conventions.

Worst NYE experience!!! We booked at 10:30p, and arrived early (about 10:15p) surprisingly our table was ready, but that’s where the positive energy ended. We waited for 20 minutes before our waitress bothered to come over only to find out that several items on the prefix menu that we PREPAID FOR were sold out already. The manager told our waitress to allow us to order something which we appreciated but unfortunately it only got worse. We waited 40 minutes for our starters to show up and by 11:30p (after 1:15 at the table) we got our second of four courses(basically appetizers and salad). Except that my wife was brought something she hadn’t ordered. When the waitress finally came back to the table, she half heartedly said that what my wife ordered had also sold out. (Never during the hour and almost 20 minutes of us sitting at the table did she have the courtesy to come tell us, let alone refill our waters or ask if we wanted another drink). With midnight approaching, we noticed that other waiters and waitresses were bringing champagne to the tables for the New Year’s toast. Our waitress was nowhere to be found so we asked a different waitress for champagne which she very kindly went to get, only to be scolded by our waitress who wanted to give our glasses to someone else. We ring in the New Year having only eaten 2 of the promised 4 courses, and were hopeful that things would get better after the craziness started to wane. Only it didn’t. We waited another 20 minutes for food that never came. Finally we went and complained to the management staff that did nothing but offer another half-hearted apology and free drinks at the bar but still no food. I will be getting a full refund from my credit card company and never going back again.

It was New Year’s Eve so it was a bit crowded. Waited 10 mins to get to the host stand. When it was our turn to check in … they wanted to turn us away as if we were late to our reservation and did not want to honor it. We kindly said we have been waiting in line to check in for a bit. The gal running the desk asked if we were having the New Years Eve package. We said when making the reservation it gave us a choice and we chose not to do the package. She replied well you can not dine it’s only that. I looked at her puzzled and said “why would you take my reservation then and ask which option I wanted “ so she then said “ok we will accommodate you “ We had a reservation in the lounge and she had a gal take us to a table outside which we did not approve of. We asked to be in the lounge in which we picked a table there. Our waitress was excellent! Energetic , all smiles - a complete gem! We ended up going with the New Years Eve package only to find out what one of the options we wanted was already sold out. Us being easy no big deal we will select something else they offered. Food was delicious but service was super slow. We understood because of the night it was. Things happen and we get it. The poor manager I give him a metal! Everyone complaining to him about something. It’s New Year’s Eve- it’s holiday time and everyone needs to learn to pack their patience. I commend our waitress for keeping a great attitude even though she was getting yelled at left and right. She was wonderful! I would like to go back and try the restaurant again , not during a crazy time and hopefully have a better feel checking in, and not having a 3 hour dinner. But at the end of the day we had a wonderful night ! Happy New Year!

Beautiful, spacious restaurant! Food is above average but they need to stick to their knowledge (example Hamachi is always cut thin, it was cut thick and they left the fiber!) Desserts also incredibly good! Prices are high which is acceptable but for that prize I can mention 30 better restaurants in Miami! I will come back

We were visiting Miami from California and were excited to try this restaurant. Overall the food was very tasty and the ambiance was nice. We got the salmon, empanadas and cacio Pepe. The thing that made this experience unfortunate was the service. We waited a while to order our drinks, starters and food. Each time we had to call out to our waitress because she either disappeared for 10 minutes or kept passing us. We wanted to order dessert but after waiting for so long, we just asked for the bill. They also automatically included a 20% tip which explained the lack of service. This was not listed or mentioned anywhere. Super disappointing when a nice, new and expensive restaurant has poor service because of the included tip. This experience hindered us from having dessert and recommending it to other people.

Very nice place as far as ambiance. Service was terribly slow! Food wasn’t cooked as ordered. Salad came with zero salad dressing on it. We had to remind the waiter that some of the food was missing and the steak was bland.
