Was pretty noisy and the cost was more than what I would have valued for the food and delay given we arrived when it was slow. Waiter was nice and kept after drinks. I would go again but was pretty pricey

Love the Americano especially for happy hour! Drunk Wifey is a great tequila drink. Bone in veal parm is also a must try for entree.

Whenever we’re in Scottsdale for our annual getaway, dinner at The Americano is a must. We first found it years ago when the Four Seasons’ restaurant was under renovation—thankfully, they pointed us here, and we’ve never looked back. The seafood is unexpectedly excellent for the desert (the salmon and oysters never miss), and though I’m not much of a red meat eater, my steak-loving companions rave about their beef dishes. The wine list is superb—we’ve found some rare Italian reds that blew us away. Service is polished but never overbearing, and the space, while maybe ready for a mild decor refresh, remains comfortable and inviting. We always leave happy—and already planning our return.

When the food came out it was Luke warm at best, everyone’s food was barely mediocre. Great server! Getting drinks from the bar was like pulling teeth and we were sitting in a bar booth. Very disappointed for the money. We’ve been to Italiano before and loved it!

Thank you to the phenomenal staff who made my Mother’s birthday such a great occasion! You helped me adjust our dinner reservation upon arrival, and helped to secure a reservation downstairs for an after dinner drink. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at both locations!

I have made several visits to the Scottsdale location and it never fails to impress. David was on the money with service and recommendations. The beef shank was fall off the bone and enough food for 3. Thanks to David and GM Jaqueline.

Service was outstanding. Focaccia was very good as was the meatballs. My wife had the Wagyu bolognese which she liked a great deal. I had the filet, ordered it medium rare with a side of bernaise. The filet temp was medium, the server brought me another and asked me to cut into the middle. It was medium rare, however as I cut bites away from the center, the meat was medium to medium well. I didn’t say anything and ate half of it. The bernaise was gelatinous, not creamy, and I couldn’t detect any tarragon reduction….disappointing.

An absolutely exceptional experience at Americano! My son and his best friend picked Americano to celebrate their last day of 1st grade. Everything far exceeded expectations. The staff were wonderful and treated both the boys and moms like royalty, all while being friendly and playful. Food and drink were top tier and we all hugely appreciated the special cookies to celebrate!! Americano team, you absolutely outdid yourselves!!! Thank you so much!
