You'll find us nestled snugly right on Seatown Beach, hidden along one of the many coves that litter Dorset's famous Jurassic coastline. Once a smugglers haunt, the pub now serves a seasonal menu with a focus on seafood and fresh local produce.
Complete with wood fires and Palmers award winning ales, the pub is the perfect location to refuel after a day on the coastal path or for a special evening meal with friends or family.
Turn off the A35 and follow Duck Street down to the beach.

We were 45 minutes late arriving due to an unexpected road closure. We phoned in advance and staff were very understanding,
We sat outside - 2 of us for lunch.
I had lamb (the best I’ve had in any restaurant) and my friend had loin of Cod which she said was perfect.
Service was friendly and helpful.
A perfect lunch - we never had desert but the couple on the next table said theirs was the best sticky toffee pudding they’d ever had- and it did look delicious.
A lovely lunch followed by a walk on the beach.

We visited the Anchor inn for my husbands 70th birthday.
Everything about the visit was fantastic from the minute we arrived.
The food was some of the tastiest we had ever had and the ambience and setting of the Anchor Inn made the experience truly special. Thank you
