The Avery inspires all occasions—romantic and casual alike—fueled by the culinary creations of Michelin-­starred chef, Cal Elliott. Enjoy elevated classics inspired by French techniques. A warm & moody Gastro-Tavern, Tiner's Alley, is tucked in the back for cozy after-dinner cocktails and free billiards. Turn any evening extraordinary with a finely curated list of cocktails and a French-loving, diverse wine list selected by our in-house sommelier.

    Decor is amazing! Very 1920s feel to me. We came for brunch and had a hard time picking what to order with all the great options. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time after we ordered drinks. We definitely plan on returning in the future.

    The service was outstanding. We were seated almost immediately. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful. The food was delicious and the drinks were fun and tasty. This was our first time at the avery and we were celebrating their valentine's meal. The only thing I would say I did not like is how close the tables are to one another. And we were seated at a bistro table, which is very small and the chairs are kind of small too. It's the type of table and chairs you would see outside of a coffee shop that are not very comfortable for a long period of time. I was adjusting and shifting a lot and did not have any elbow space whatsoever.

    The staff and food were both awesome! It was a great spot for a Valentine lunch. Shake it up instead of dinner.

    The Avery is delightful-the overall French vibe, cool paintings and fixtures. Nice clean bathrooms. Our server was terrific (her name is Basel) and the bartender looked like he was straight out of a French romance. We had brunch and the eggs benedict were the best I have ever had. And did I mention valet parking? So convenient!

    Wonderful reworking of a Boise classic place. Service was attentive and made great suggestions. The food was great. As described on the menu, delivered hot and tasty. Floor was run well, managers visited the table. Oh and the cocktails were well mixed and worth it. We will be back.
