As a relatively regular visitor, went for Sunday Lunch. Slight disappointment with the selection of roast options - only beef and gammon. The guys did explain this was to change it for the summer menu but felt it was pretty limited. Service was great though and location is a fantastic place for a post dinner walk by the Meon.

Met up with three old colleagues for leisurely lunch. Not hurried by waitress, food was good and reasonably priced. We were only ones there 12:00 but filled up to 60% by 1:00.

The Sunday lunch with mushroom tart was incredible. The vegetables were really nice and not just treated as an accompaniment.

Enjoyed a lovely family meal here at Easter. Delicious roasts enjoyed by all with the nicest vegetables to accompany. Everyone agreed the best we’ve eaten anywhere and great value for money. Really pretty venue, nice atmosphere and staff. Thanks guys!

Food was absolutely excellent. We have given a moderate score for service because we waited a long time for our food because there was a huge table in at the same time. The staff were working really hard, and were very nice, but it felt like there wasn’t enough capacity in the kitchen at the time. Very understandable. We really enjoyed our food when it did arrive, but we didn’t stay for puddings because we didn’t have time.

A really lovely first visit to this beautiful, village pub. Parking was easy and the staff were informative, welcoming and attentive. The food offer was varied and it was nice to see some different options that don’t often make it to a pub menu, such as liver and bacon and calamari. All of the dishes we ordered were freshly cooked to order and tasted delicious. I chose the cheese and bacon burger which was homemade, packed with flavour and well presented. My party also opted for the fish pie, sausage and mash and Caesar salad with calamari, all of which were equally as delicious. We finished our meals with the lemon cheesecake and Eton mess - can highly recommend 😋 and coffees. The staff were friendly and attentive and overall we had a lovely visit. The only hiccup was the lack of an accessible toilet as one of our party was wheelchair bound. The toilets are really not suitable for anyone with severe mobility issues and the portable ramp is not sufficient to accommodate the steps down and then up to the toilet. No handles in the toilet either. We managed with two helping adults and a lot of heaving! The staff did all they could to help and it was no reflection on them or the quality of the food but worth bearing in mind if you have someone whos mobility is an issue.

The food was delicious but service so slow (table booked for 6:30 and starters didn't arrive until after 7:30) that what was to be a treat was disappointing - shame 😕
