The menu always seems to have the same core but the kitchen does an amazing job of introducing specials, new items, and tweaking the classics to reflect the seasons and different tastes. A special shoutout to the kitchen and waitstaff for providing that added “extra touch” for a birthday, going a little above and beyond.

                                                                                Tough day at Banks. Solo bartender also working the floor. Host and manager bopping around not doing too much. Many patrons waiting for anyone to pay attention to them. Only maybe 8-12 people in there max. This place won’t survive the winter.

                                                                                Can I say WOW!! Wonderful atmosphere, food and service! Fireplace in main floor and beautiful Xmas decorations k made the restaurant sparkle! The mussels were the BEST I’ve actually ever had. Being a seafood foodie, I thought I had tried them all. Well these blew me away, creamy tomato broth w a kick! The Branzino was also perfection! Cooked absolutely perfectly with a puree sauce. Fresh and absolutely delicious! I did not love my lobster ravioli sadly, but everything was great! Thank you for a wonderful night!

                                                                                Impeccable service and outstanding and delicious seafood. We had a table by the fireplace which provided a lot of ambience and warmth. Really enjoyed the Bronzino and the Chowder and shrimp cocktail were fabulous. Hugh Shrimp, which none of had seen so big before. And because we were going to the Lyric Theatre we received 15% off our bill!!!

                                                                                Had reservation and was initially shown to a table downstairs. Asked if we could be seated upstairs and happily we were. We had looked at menu online prior to confirming reservation. When we reviewed menu at restaurant there were a few items missing..we were disappointed the tuna steak was not offered however when we questioned our server she checked with the chef and was told they could prepare tuna. When we ordered the server stated the tuna was served rare which was perfect for one of us and another requested medium rare. Sadly when entrees arrived the rare was medium rare and the other was medium well. We could have sent back or said something but chose not to. The rolls were delicous as well as ocopus appetizer and caeser salad. Cocktails were also good. Sadly there are many other similiar restaurants to choose from including Grill 23 where we would prefer to dine.
