Food was pretty average and certainly not worth the price. I had the sirloin roast, beef was fatty and not much of it for the price. Roast potatoes were good, as was the Yorkshire pudding. Gravy was thin and greasy with little flavour. The veg was good but lukewarm to cold. I also had the onion soup which was a bit thin and lacking flavour. My partner had the trout starter but struggled to find any flavour. The monk fish was overcooked but replaced and was pretty good. Very good ale. Appreciate that the pub is in Mayfair but the food was over priced for the standard.

One of the chicest pubs in London. Beautiful crowd, great food, nice drinks. Loved the Irish manager upstairs.

Food is very good. Service was slow when we visited as the restaurant was very busy but the staff were excellent given the circumstances.

Seven of us visited The Barley Mow for my husband’s 40th birthday and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The service was fantastic, food was beyond delicious, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was just perfect. We will definitely be back and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Barley Mow to anyone. Thank you all!
