   We attended for a birthday meal - when we tried to order, they did not have the gluten free option that one of our guests wanted to order, and so the waitress went to get the specific gluten free menu (which we did not know existed as no one asked about allergies when we arrived). We then waited ages for someone to come back and take our order despite there being only 5 other people in the restaurant. When they did, it transpired that actually there were loads of main courses not available, but we only found this out when asking for each one; no one gave us a list or indication before we ordered. After realising there was no suitable option for our gluten free guest and no option that another guest wanted to eat, we decided to leave. We were still charged full price for our drinks and no one came to speak to us when we told the waitress we were leaving. Very disappointed in the experience as we were hoping this would be a good place to revisit in future but unfortunately will not be back.

   Booked for daughter's birthday (her choice). First time we've been since new owners and it was perfect. Food was delicious and steaks perfectly cooked, large portions, great service. We appreciated not being rushed and the 80's / 90's sounds!

   This was our first time at The Battlefield Restaurant. We will definitely be back when next up in Inverness when we come up to visit family. The staff were very attentive, and friendly, the food was delicious. My mother in law had the scallops to start and said they were delicious I had the breaded cheese and that was fantastic, hubby had the haggis bon bon which he loved then the mains arrived and as with the starters they were amazing, steak was cooked to perfection, can’t wait to visit again 😊

   From being greeted at the door till leaving after dinner the staff were very very pleasant and friendly. Food was very nice and a cracking pint of tennents. Only thing I would add is maybe add a gluten free meal to the Sunday menu as my wife doesn't really do roasts and had to have a salad.. First time back here after re opening and we will come back. Thanks to the staff again..

   Really enjoyed our last minute date night, booked on line and was met at the door escorted to our table and quickly served. Food was hot and delicious. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. We'll be back.

   Ten of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening celebrating our granddaughters 17th birthday. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were big. The staff were very attentive and the service was excellent. We will certainly visit again.

   We were visiting the Inverness area and ate at the Battlefield Bar & Restaurant twice as we liked it so much. Very friendly and open atmosphere. The food arrived nice and hot and tasted great. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Great place for a relaxing, casual dinner.

   We arrived to a genuine warm welcome, I had scampi then apple tart both were superb, service was excellent and the background music great, nice easy listening.

    Conflicting information given when arrived at the restaurant. The waitress who greeted us said there is only Sunday Roast for today, whilst the waiter taking our drinks order said they have a limited menu. Once we ordered our food, it wasn’t long before it arrived. Most of my party was very disappointed due to the fact the food turned up cold apart from the scampi! We had to send the food back. When it did come back out the food was now warm but the roast potatoes had seen better days. They were black and chewy like they had been sitting under a heated lamp for sometime. Once we finished our main, a few of us wanted desserts. This took some time as nobody came to ask us if we wanted anything else. I had to ask a member of staff that was behind the bar! Overall a disappointing visit.
