   This was our fourth visit to The Blue Ball this year. It was as good as the previous three visits. The waiters and waitresses are excellent - very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. The menu is varied enough to suit all tastes and they are OK with requests for slight alterations (eg chips rather than boiled potatoes). The food was served quickly and we were very happy with the quality or quantity. We will undoubtedly be back again soon.

   Lovely evening with great service and lovely food. Made to feel welcome by Rob from the minute we arrived. We park here for the rugby too and highly recommend both the restaurant and the outside eating area on match days. Thank you for a great evening :-) Tracey Abbott

   Food, setting and service very good. My wife has intolerances and they checked with kitchen to accommodate these. We were saying how we would definitely come back for an evening meal but the biggest thing we dislike is when a place puts an automatic service charge on the bill, we find this rude and assuming. It then makes you feel really uncomfortable to ask to take it off. I didn’t actually notice it until after I had paid.

   What a fantastic experience. Work meeting over lunch, treated like treasured guests and absolutely loved the staff, food, drinks, place, building, location, loos. Will go again and wish it was my local.

   Great communication, very accommodating. We had Sunday lunch that was superp. We were able to get extra potatoes and gravy easily. Only criticism is the wine was slightly expensive, but still very good. We also had breakfast outside.

   Don't book a table on a rugby match day. The car park is used for rugby car parking and parking is a nightmare. We were celebrating a birthday but we felt a bit overlooked especially seated by the front door and when everyone came in after the match finished. Food was ok but nothing special.

    Amazing atmosphere, great food. We had Sunday lunch, great quality and ample portion size. Highly recommended. Even had someone on car park to ensure we had a space and wasn’t used by Exeter Chiefs fans who were playing at home on the same day.
