Fun, lively, and vibrant, Boon Fly Café serves modern rustic cuisine in a contemporary roadhouse atmosphere. Start your day with our signature Boon Fly donuts, and end it with our award-winning fried chicken or one of our nightly dinner specials. Resort guests and locals alike are drawn to the energetic vibe and satisfying cuisine that’s based on the agricultural heritage of the region.

Named for a Carneros pioneer named Boon Fly, who planted orchards and vineyards in the area in the mid-1800s, our café is a homage to local flavor.

Boon Fly, descended from settlers of the early New England Colonies, was part of the great tradition of wagon trains that brought many of the early families west. He was drawn to the farmlands north of the city and settled outside of Napa on a property that would become known as the Fly District.

Please note that we accept brunch diners on a first come first serve basis and we take reservations for dinner only.

The food was delicious. Danielle was our server and she was amazing. We have been going here for 20 years. It opened in 2004. It never disappoints. The hamburger is the best ever and my husband always orders the fried chicken. The macaroni and cheese is the best!

Wonderfully quirky building - cozy small restaurant. Attentive friendly staff. Loved the (just the right amount of spice/heat) butternut squash soup sprinkled with toasted pumpkin seeds. And the tomato salad with goat cheese was really delicious and unexpected; something seemingly simple but elevated. Ran out of room for dessert but there were tempting menu options. Enjoy!

This has been on my bucket list for a while and I wasn’t disappointed! The gumbo was excellent and the donuts were outstanding. I can’t wait to go back and try the green eggs and ham!
