    During restaurant week we made a reservation of 6. Service was very slow, however it was at capacity. We had to wait over 15 minutes to get drinks and we ran out of water. Food was ok but not amazing. The gumbo was like a beef stew and wouldn't recommend.

    Food was very good, however, my blacked walleye fish was way too over spiced...and I usually like spice! Everything else was good...just pricey, like most nice restaurants these days.

    The food was very good at a decent price. The gumbo was pretty spicy—-maybe a little too much for me——and the ingredients in it were great. Our waiter was superb and the lady seating us was very nice. We enjoyed our experience and will be back.

    We arrived in time to enjoy items from the Happy Hour menu - had the humus plate which was a great deal, the flatbread too. I had the Jambalaya pasta - it was excellent. Chris, our server, was excellent and helped make our meal even more enjoyable. We’ll be back.

    My group of 5 had lunch at The Brass Onion during restaurant week. Several of us had the gumbo and thought it was excelllent. I ordered the Baked Brie Salad and was very impressed with the overall presentation and taste. I would definitely come back just for this salad!

    My server was excellent. I ordered coffee. I noticed that my cream was separating at the top. Thought that was weird, but did not complain or say anything. The next thing I knew she brought me new coffee and said that the cream had expired and she was unaware of that. She brought me a whole new coffee and unexpired cream! Top notch service!!! Food was delicious…I had never had brunch at Brass Onion before but plan to again. ;)
