The Bridge Tavern is a historic building trading as a inn as far back as the 1800's & was the birthplace for the pioneering Captain Robert Halpin. Excellent service, but some of the food left a bit to be desired. The chicken burger was under seasoned and the beef burger a bit greasy. I had the wild mushroom linguine which was nice.

Had the fish and chips. Lovely fresh fish in nice crispy batter. Also had a nice view of the river. Good service too. Will be back

We made a return visit to The Bridge Tavern as we attend a Full Moon Gathering on the beach close by each month - This place is perfect being near our destination - on our previous visit on a Saturday evening, it was over all - excellent, but sadly this time we were dining right beside where the bands were doing a sound check - so we could hardly hear ourselves talk & took away from the beautiful food in a lovely setting overlooking the river flowing beside our window seat

Very good menu for breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to eat there for lunch. The meals we ordered for dinner were very good. The service was good both times. The scrambled egg breakfast was a little salty for our taste. The service during breakfast was very good - our server was very helpful.
