The Bull's Head in Shenstone is a country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.

The Bulls head has existed in the village of Shenstone since the 17th century, but only by the 1850s was the Bulls Head firmly established at the centre of village life with petty Court Sessions being held at the inn on the second and fourth Mondays of every month. The Bull's Head is still an integral part of village life in Shenstone.

In the heart of Shenstone, The Bull's Head is perfectly positioned for the best of town and country, being close to the historic attractions of the cathedral city of Lichfield and modern, vibrant Birmingham.

Orders taken swiftly but delivery far too slow. Food quality excellent but excessive wait for delivery. Some items missed off order.

Really improved since refurbishment. Food was very good and waitress was friendly and helpful. Nice bright environment. The menu is expensive though when you consider it is only a pub . Definitely will go back

We both were expecting something fabulous from our first visit to The Bull after hearing glowing reviews, but although we enjoyed our lamb shank Sunday dinner, we thought there could have been more vegetables. The menu promised 'carrots and parsnips' but both were in the singular! Also the lettuce leaf, an odd addition to a roast, seemed to be filling out the plate. The lamb however was perfect, delicious and tender. Maybe a rosemary type stuffing would have been more suitable than a Yorkshire pudding.

Staff rushed off their feet, so service was slow;I like a rest between courses but this was excessive. Quantity of food was poor but very expensive for what was served up. I left hungry. I refused to have desert at over £5 a serving just to feel full. Chairs uncomfortable to sit on for the duration of the meal. Overall a disappointment and a let down for my husband's birthday

Visited at lunchtime on a Thursday and it was quite quiet, hence the mark for ambience. I can imagine at night it has more of an atmosphere. Price is more than normal pub grub, but the food was so much nicer than the usual pub fayre. Service was very good and the staff friendly. Nice place, would recommend. Would I go back. Definitely!!

Not a good experience. Very disappointed. I felt pretty bad about this as I chose the venue for my group of friends.
