Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     We had a 5:30 when we got there we were told it will be a wait of 15 minutes. She asked us if we wanted to go to the bar which we had no interest in doing. There were no seats to sit on while we waited. Every person coming in after us was told the same thing. If patrons have to wait please provide seats while they are waiting.

    Our experience was fantastic! It would not be often that we would get to dine at the Capital Grille, so the evening was very special. We were greeted warmly by the hostess at the front desk, and walked to our arch shaped booth in the corner, which was perfect! Daniel, our waiter was very attentive, informative, and engaging. He was very knowledgeable on the wine selections, as well as the specials. He has great sense of humor, and did not rush our experience. We felt very much at home— a very enjoyable night! We will request Daniel for our next visit. The food was delicious! Just enough, not leaving there feeling like a stuffed whale. I do love the family-style sides. Desserts were delicious— flourless, chocolate cake, and crème brûlée!
