Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. We visited The Capital Grille in Schaumburg for the first time to celebrate my husband's birthday, but unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. Despite the main dining room being wide open, we were seated in the bar area, making us feel like second-class citizens. The birthday treat was a handwritten birthday sign on a piece of card, which lacked effort and thoughtfulness. We expected a more enjoyable and memorable dining experience, especially on such a special occasion. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that offer better service and treatment. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve the quality of service for future guests

Louise made the birthday dinner for my father extra special by going above and beyond any type of service I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant. The impression he left on me and my family is that we will be celebrating all of our birthdays dinners at this capital Grille from now on
