The Cavalier is a London-inspired brasserie, located adjacent to Hotel Zetta in San Francisco's SoMA neighborhood. The upscale British influenced restaurant is brought to you by Executive Chef Jennifer Puccio, managing partner James Nicholas, and award winning San Francisco designer, Ken Fulk. The 135-seat restaurant is divided into four unique, intimate spaces: the Blue Bar, Main Dining Room, Wine Stables, and Rail Car. The interior is designed with deep leather banquettes, polished brass, zinc and white marble, lending a posh and sultry feel.

    The evening was wonderful. From the time we entered. The before dinner cocktail, friendly bartenders & great drink. Wait staff were friendly & welcoming. Food excellent!! We weren’t rushed. Ambience was warm and welcoming. Five stars from start to finish.*****

    Absolutely one of the best meals we have had while traveling. The food was exquisite, the service superb and the ambiance beautiful! Music wasn’t too loud so you could talk comfortably with your party. We simply can’t say enough good things about it. What a truly special Christmas dinner! We will be back often! 👍❤️

    We had the Christmas day feast here for.6 pepple and thought the overall quality of the experience was great., due to a very festive holiday ambience with good choices for the set menu and friendly, but professional service.

    Absolutely excellent experience and meal. Probably the best pork chop we have ever had! Service was fantastic from the moment we walked in to this inviting space. Friendly and extremely professional. We had not been to The Cavalier in a few years and were very pleased that it’s still top shelf! We plan to visit again soon.

    I don't think I've ever received such great service from a restaurant in my 45 years of life. Everyone was so accommodating. The food was amazing. Portions are not oversized, so we didn't walk out stuffed and feeling weighed down. Fantastic drinks. Lovely ambiance (lights not too bright). Expensive but worth every penny.

    We were running a little late (party of 2) and the restaurant was wonderfully flexible. Our complicated cocktail took a bit longer than expected and they were comped! The service was fantastic, the people super friendly, the food was amazing and the vibe was perfect for the holidays. Can’t wait to return!

    We loved the lamb ribs and the mushroom gnocchi. My server was excellent and her barbera suggestion was perfect for my beef tartare. This was my first time there in a few years and I’m so glad I made it back. The space is beautiful and location is perfect for me coming from the east bay because it’s so close to BART. I won’t be waiting so long to return this time

    LOVE the ambiance, food and service! Lamb chops were amazing, as was the creamed spinach. Killer mezcal margaritas!! Glad we dined early, as noise level gets a bit intense, requiring need to talk at high volumes to be heard over the din.
