The pub was cold, the room at the front where we were seated was not far from the door, so every time it opened the wind blew through. It took 50 minutes for our food to come. We ordered the child’s pizza. The pizza was poorly presented but also made using tomato salsa that had jalapeños in it. Far too spicy for the 5 year old so the pizza was not eaten. Spoke to the staff about it and they offered to swap but we’d already waited 50 minutes for the food and didn’t want to have to wait as it was getting late for little ones bedtime. They didn’t even offer to knock the child’s pizza off the bill.

Had a lovely evening at the Cheshire Tavern with my 3 sisters . Food was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for the waitress Will definitely be back!

Fantastic meal great service and value for money. I would add that it was a limited menu and no Sunday Roast on offer sadly

Whilst the food was great, the service was slow. 2pm table (prebooked) and it was 3.05pm-3.15pm before we were all served with some items missing from dinners & a drink forgotten, thatwe asked for. We were in the conservatory part of building which is obv cooler than main part so we did feel left out. Next time I will ask for a table in main part. Once again the food was great and we will be back
