   My reservation was for 8:00. Me and my date arrived and they made us wait over 30 minutes even though each reservation has a 2 hour limit and they didn’t want to enforce that and didn’t want to tell people who were overstaying their 2 hour limit that other people had reservations made. They took extremely long to seat me and my date and we had things planned and another reservation to go to after that we got to late because of how long they made us wait for a table even though they should’ve told the people who were still there after their 2 hour limit that they need to leave soon. I felt highly disrespected, they didn’t do anything to accommodate for our wait on top of charging me extra for water. I would never come back I will make sure to tell people about my bad experience there, I don’t see why I made a reservation if I still had to wait, it’s like the host there valued everyone else’s reservations except mine and that was a big slap in the face. It threw off the vibes for the night and I didn’t like the service, I didn’t like the fact they didn’t want to tell people that were there for too long that other people have reservations so they should get going soon, that was a terrible first experience at The Clarendon, I don’t like the fact they charged me extra for pointless items it was not a good experience in the slightest.

   The Korean Fried chicken was absolutely delicious!! The fish and chips were a bit underwhelming. The tenderloin was decent. The atmosphere is great. Smooth music like Cleo sol and thee sacred souls playing in the background made it a relaxing atmosphere for a Valentine's Day dinner. The place looks relaxing, yet chic.

   Went here for a team lunch for work and it was a great spot with lots of options. Would very much recommend.

   The great food ! is worth the minor imperfections of the cold air blowing in from outside and the adequate service. If they change the name and had great service, they would definitely be in the top 10 for Ottawa.

   Good food items, the only problem was that we were seated next to a table of 20 persons. It was sooo noisy that we could barely hear each other.

   Nice setting in the heart of Ottawa Byward market. Happy Hour with interesting options and rebate. Pizza was tasty with a good selection to choose from.

   This is our go-to place any time we visit Ottawa! The place has warm and original ambiance and the best outdoor seating in the summer! The staff is friendly, the food is great at brunch or dinner!
