   Very intimate dining experience. Situated in a renovated older home, there are several rooms. We celebrated a friend’s birthday. The staff was very attentive & the food was delicious! This was our first time, but we’ll be back!

   Server Anne, along with Francis, Curtis, and the whole team at the Classic Café, provided another memorable holiday dinner for our party of four. Everything was outstanding, from the appetizers to the entrées to the desserts. The preparation was well explained in detail and presented beautifully, and the wines matched appropriately. As always, the Classic Cafe in Roanoke is the benchmark by which I judge all restaurants in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, and tonight‘s dinner was no exception.

    A great evening. First off, it was a “slow” night. Noise levels were low - a bonus!!! My wife had CFS. Probably the best CFS I have ever had. Thee real question: : who would ever think to order CFS at a very nice restaurant? Take a chance - it is that good. I had the duck breast. Tough to get duck right - they did it. Food is the attraction at this restaurant. It was good to see Francis - the soul of the restaurant. I have been eating at this restaurant since 1993, and all that time – only one bad meal. That speaks volumes. Sadly, okra and shrimp fritters are about to go off the menu. The house salads were alsocrisp, expertly executed. Lastly. The waitstaff was functional - they are usually more engaging. But, they cannot take away from the good food that was prepared.
