we ordered wine, she opened it and we drank a glass and noticed its the wrong one... her response was oh we have 2 kinds.. no apology.... then we said we ordered the blend and she said we didn't... it was a not my fault answer...
we asked for spoons for the appetizer which needed a spoon for every container cause one had vinegar and the other had mayo... she brought 1 spoon and when we asked for more she said oh its just for decoration. no, it changes the taste and I have a kid who is allergic to certain foods.
that's the waitress complaint.
now the noise complaint, they sat us on the last booth and the lighting was so dark... fine but it was by the guys who prep the seafood and the guy stacking the bowls by them would drop them into the other bowls. it was an abrupt sound that every time he did that it was very loud and obnoxious... the manager should tell them there is a table right there that can hear that sound.
the guy who delivered the food said who ordered the frites... we said no one. we ordered the filet... so he walked away.
after that we asked for the manager... the manager brings back the frites the guy said he had but it was actually the filet... ???
we asked for a different waiter/waitress cause she kept turning it around the mistakes that kept happening and it was our problem
its a great place which we love down here. its expensive and we have brought friends there but after that we are turned off. the food didn't taste good because of the experience and our mood changed. my daughter got anxious every time the waitress came by and something kept happening. confrontation is not fun
I will say the manager did apologize .. thank goodness and he handled it well. he did take the wine off the bill and the app off the bill and half of my dinner cause that was wrong too... I would've rather gotten the great service we usually get instead of us agitated
