Was fine but not memorable, nor worth repeating. Dining room had feel of a mess hall in that tables all lined up together. Was very loud, all the talking. Cocktails from the specialty list were not so good, leastwise none of the 3 in our group cared for any of the 5 different ones we tried. My halibut arrived still raw, after apologies and that item comped, was cooked and delicious but of course I was then eating after the rest of my group was done. Although I had made reservations, the table wasn’t set for our group when we arrived and the staff scrambled to get it ready. I guess I just expected better.

Croissant French Toast was bomb! Oaxacan Summer cocktail was okay. Service was good initially then forgotten for about 15 minutes. Beautiful poolside dining on a sunny, clear day.

What a tranquil, Palm Springsy, beautiful place to brunch. The setting is so lovely- the greenery, the pool, the interiors. We all enjoyed our food, especially the baked eggs. Would defo come back.

Great table by the pool, with helpful server, good food, interesting cocktails and extensive wine list. The hamachi sushi, duck and steak in particular were very good. Desert menu less interesting and the soufflé off the menu, (or just late and the kitchen didn’t want to rustle one up?) and slight disappointment (to our amusement) was the tub of icecream served as a complete dessert, which we thought inappropriate in a restaurant of this calibre. We would recommend The Colony Club, but not Michelin star worthy yet.

We started with the Hamachi and the Burrata salad. For dinner we had the scollops and halibut. Service was great.

Wonderful ambience and service but food could’ve had a little more flavor. Feel it is geared toward older people with dietary issues.

We’ve eaten at the Colony many times ( both dinner and lunch) and were looking forward to taking our out of town guests there. This time we were extremely disappointed. The lunch menu was very limited. Only 4 items available, 2 salads, a baked egg dish and a burger. We ordered 3 Cobb salads which my husband said was inedible. I had the baked egg dish, the eggs were overcooked and swimming in a very oily tomato/Spinach sauce that was tasteless. Hard to believe this place had a Michelin mention less than two years ago. What is going on there??? New management? New chef? Something has changed and this spot is now off our “list”.

Our waiter was extraordinary! She was very attentive and gave great suggestions. Some of the table had dietary restrictions and she easily pointed out menu items that would suit them. She had a positive attitude and pleasant demeanour. .

Colony club made our anniversary celebration special from the moment we walked in. Greeting us and taking us directly to our table outside, we enjoyed watching the sun go down over the mountains. Treated with complimentary champagne and starters they made us feel at home and appreciated that we choose them for our special evening. I’d recommend booking a Thursday evening reservation, the place was very romantic, quiet and overall a great experience. Think the Thursday night market in PS downtown just down the street helps with keeping the restaurant at a low capacity, at least seem to be that way for us. The food, so so so good. The salmon was likely the best salmon I’ve ever had and being from the PNW I’ve had a lot. Never had a salmon filet so thick but yet so light and fluffy. Overall a great experience for my wife and I. Prior to the dinner we went to the Palm Springs Art Museum (free on Thursdays after 5pm) which was a lot of fun, had dinner at the Colony then enjoyed the street market. All within a 1/2-3/4 mile radius.

The food (brunch) was good, but expensive for what it was. If you’re staying there and have a dining credit, definitely use it. If you don’t, maybe try something else in the area. The service was really great. But my biggest issue was with the seating. We sat outside and the chairs were really dirty. Not really what you’d expect from a restaurant at that price point / at a nice hotel. It kind of took the whole dining experience down a notch and I was a little afraid to sit on the seats with my beige pants. Not a huge deal, just unexpected.
