Located on the Upper West Side, the restaurant features a French American menu which includes brunch favorites; blueberry cast iron pancakes, classic eggs benedict and beet and gin cured salmon. We had a delightful, delicious meal last night. Everything thing was perfect from start to finish! If possible, it would be helpful to have some type of light in the entryway as it's very dark. It was hard to tell if there was one step or two in the darkness. There are two small steps up to the restaurant door.

Beatiful place, friendly service and excellent food. Main dining room was a little loud but we sat in the heated outdoor section and that wasn’t a problem. Great brunch!

Great brunch. They actually must have been concerned with seasoning the eggs and the avocado toast. The staff was always on top of it. The only drawback for me was that there are no 2-person tables where you can talk business with enough privacy, but that is hardly a concern of most patrons. I'll be going back.

Despite the service and waiting for the food and then for the next course in the following course, we finished our meal and we’re given a check. I paid the check with a credit card and was given a receipt complete with a tip. My guest and I were leaving the restaurant when we were accosted by some lady claiming to be a manager handing me another check, which was supposedly mine. She said I did not pay properly. I pulled out my receipt which was correct, and then she backed down. However, that did not excuse Her or my embarrassment in front of my guest. I have been eating at consulate for years and years. I have never experienced anything like this when the owners were present

The food and service were great but the noise level was deafening. The excruciating noise made the experience terrible and we will not return.
