Welcome to the Crown and Anchor, South London's premier Real Ale, Cider and Craft Beer House. Sister pub of the Jolly Butchers in Stoke Newington - CAMRA nominated after only one year in business and one of the Guardian's Top 10 pubs in Britain; there's loads of reasons for you to pay us a visit, including up to 25 taps at any one time, a fantastic range of Real Ale, Cider and Craft beers, an open kitchen where you can see our chefs creating great pub classics with a twist, and plenty of outside seating for those who fancy it.
We work closely with many of the top brewers in the country; our range of Real Ale, Cider, Craft Beer and Premium Lager has something for everyone, and we are constantly adding new brewers to our portfolio.
Great beer deserves to be paired with great eating. Our Head chef knows this, and aside from being delicious, our food menu has been to designed with great care to provide you with such a range of flavours and elements.

I've eaten Sunday lunch here twice in the last 2 months. On one occasion I had the nut roast and on the second I had the lamb Sunday lunch. Neither meal was good quality or enjoyable. Here's why.... The nut roast was dry. The lamb is lamb shoulder and 50% of it was fat. The veg consisted of 3 under done potatoes (you couldn't call them roasted as no crispness to them), 3 slices of carrot (OK but inadequate), a massive amount of cabbage and brocoli. No parsnip. Gluten free gravy was acceptable but not tasty. The experience of my co-diners was similar and we left dissatisfied with the food. It gets 2 stars for environment but zero for food

Great food, really good value for money and lovely service. Have been a regular and recommend this place for everyone. They have lots of choices for vegans too.
