   Alexis was adept at handling a table where the 4 of us were constantly gabbing. She checked in enough to make sure we had anything we needed, but wasn't intrusive and didn't rush us. The food was great even though we only focused on appetizers and salads. We each had the Italian chopped salad with added chicken. The presentation was odd as the chicken was plated separately. Not sure if that was because we split the salad or not. The flavors were very good. For appetizers, Alexis recommended the eggplant prepared tableside and it did not disappoint. The bread was a great vehicle for the taste. The bread and butter was fine but additional bread was needed compared to the 3 butters provided. Finally, the french onion spread with potato chips as the delivery mechanism was outstanding. Atmosphere was noisy but not painfully so. As we stayed longer than most, it was quite pleasant and peaceful toward the end when the restaurant cleared out some. The patio must be nice when the weather is appropriate. Great people watching.

   We had an excellent Server named Melissa. The food was Awesome, didn’t take long for the food to be served. Everything was great!

   Had a great birthday experience with our party of 4. The food, service , and ambience were fantastic. Our server Chris planted a number of small birthday surprises for me and made the night truly special. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu and everyone in our party enjoyed their tasty meals and appetizers.

   From the minute we walked in, immediately seated for our reservation…our server arrived right when we sat down. Drinks came promptly, food came very fast even on a busy Sat night. We had all the course, it was all so, so good!

   Food was average, service was slow and a bread backer for $10 that has more butter than bread served was unacceptable. Ordered more bread and charged $4.

   We had a wonderful time at The Davidson having drinks and a light dinner after a long workday, mostly because of our amazing server, Kristen! She made excellent recommendations, was so friendly and helpful, and just really seemed to enjoy serving us! By the way, the mushroom bisque and pot de crème were to die for!!

   We had a lovely dinner at the Davidson last night! Service was top notch, food was delicious, and fun was had by all. We were out on the patio, which was a bit loud with street noise, but being able to soak in the lights of Fountain Square as I ate made up for it! Will be back for sure.

   We had an outstanding evening. The personal touches to start the night, handwritten notes and toast for the table for the two birthdays we were celebrating, was a fantastic surprise. The service was wonderful, the appetizer fondu was incredible (seriously order it), the reposado Manhattan a delightful gem, and an experience I would recommend to anyone. We will be returning.

    Davidson is perfect spot for before a show and I love their happy hour.. my favorite thing is they play the best music!
