   Went for early dinner with a girlfriend on a Saturday . We were greeted right away and seated a few minutes later. My friend ordered the catfish, greens and cornbread I ordered the bo jangles chicken & biscuits and collard greens Neither of us liked our meals. The catfish was greasy and undercooked. The greens had more turkey than greens. The chicken & biscuits were dry and tasteless.The marmalade sauce was not my favorite. Only one dessert option- bread pudding. It was made with cherries instead of raisins. It too, was dry. The service was ok. Waitress was not able to answer a couple of our questions but did go back to find the answer.. Overall, not a place I would patronize again.

   We tried a few different food items and YUM! The berry French toast was as you’d expect, soft and sweet. So good! The tamales were pretty good. I preferred without the salsa provided but my husband liked it better with salsa. I had delta breakfast sammich and that was delish and filling. Served with hash brown potatoes which I don’t eat. Only thing is the dj starts at 2pm on Saturday, which is cool, but we met up with someone we hadn’t seen in a while and it’s hard to catch up over extremely loud music lol Thta was our mistake though. Fun vibe l, if you didn’t go there to talk, for sure.

   The ambiance was nice and intimate, perfect for a Valentine's dinner. However, the food was okay. It wasn't worth the price tag. The fried shrimp wasn't thoroughly battered, the prices were overpriced, and the server made a mix-up, giving us someone else food at first. The server, not my waitress, because it was a team effort. My waiter was prompt and delivered good service. I was told the shrimp was on the house due to the wait, but I still was charged. Overall, for three drinks, The couple's Valentine dinners and shrimp. It came out to $165

   Sunday soul brunch is always a hit. Music is great (shout out to Timmy V), drinks are solid, and food was amazing. Will definitely be back soon. 🔜

   Saturday brunch is an event. The house DJ is a whole vibe. His crates are deep, and the room is moving with him. When you walk in, the bartenders make smiling eye contact, which is the right kind of welcome for this beautifully designed, cheerful space. We had tamales, french toast, and the bagel breakfast sandwich. Every bite slapped. The coffee didn't move me, but who cares! We weren't drinking, but everyone else seemed happy with their choices. Any spot you dance out of is a great grownup way to spend your Saturday afternoon.

   Great first time experience dining for brunch at The Delta. The ambiance and the DJ were a vibe, great food and great service. I had the Delta sandwich & it was very tasty. I’ll be back to visit for Sunday Soul brunch.

    I recently dined at Delta Restaurant in Chicago, and it was an exceptional experience! I started with the crab Rangoon, and it was absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside with a flavorful, creamy filling, it set the perfect tone for the meal. For the entrée, I had the shrimp and grits, and it was to die for. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the grits were so creamy and flavorful, complementing the dish perfectly. Every bite was a delight, and nothing was left on my plate! The flavors were rich, the presentation was beautiful, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Delta for a memorable dining experience!
