From the moment we walked in, we felt the level of service! From the front desk, to the hostess. It is such a beautiful hotel/restaurant. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Reservations were for 8:30 pm. We were not seated until 9:05, we didn't receive drinks until 9:20 and when we tried to place appetizers with the drinks, we were told we had to place entrees as well so the kitchen could time the courses appropriately. Server didn't come back for another ten minutes. We ordered and received the appetizers but dinner came out less than ten minutes later when we were still eating the appetizers and there was no room for the plates to be put down because it was a true two top table.

It was perfect but I wish the dining room had been decorated for the holidays. That was kind of disappointing. Otherwise wonderful.

We had the clam chowder and the steak meant for two. It was all delicious! The stake was cooked to perfection and was wonderful! The Brussel sprouts we got fried and they were tasty! The potatoes and sauce that came with it were okay, but could have gone without. The ambiance was wonderful With a pod burning fire in the dining room and the drinks we had were also beautiful and quite tasty. However, the restaurant I don’t think lives up to the hype it gets based on the prices as well as the very limited menu selection. We even looked at the menu ahead of time and there was just not a lot of things that peaked our interest! Overall it was good, but not somewhere I’d want to go again.

The Conservatory is a very pleasant room with comfortable seating, lots of natural light and a low noise level. The food was quite good (we shared the cheese plate with fruit, crackers, chutney & honeycomb and enjoyed Caesar salad as the entree). The only shortcoming is a very limited lunch menu with either a salad or a substantial meal, nothing in between. That being said, we had a lovely time ~ everyone was very pleasant and engaging, the holiday decorations are bright and cheery and the regular decorative items are unusual and striking (horseshoe crab shells under glass and an intricate mahogany birdcage, just to name two). I certainly would return (and hope to), particularly in the spring to enjoy either a view of the garden or to eat outside in the garden. Prices are consistent with location, quality of food and level of service.

Excellent cuisines served by a friendly and attentive staff. My waiter was Sean, who was excellent. The ambience was quite swank. And, I had to skip dessert to attend a nearby concert, so they arranged for an after hours delivery to my room of their fabulous flourless chocolate cake, “Chocolate Nemesis.” Much appreciated!

We had a great time at the restaurant celebrating my husbands 40th. We absolutely loved our table next to the cozy fireplace and the server was so kind to offer us a complimentary glass of bubbles to start our meal. Tiffany was very sweet and professional. We shared the froie gras and ribeye for two and both were outstanding!
