Inspired by the British coastline and countryside, Executive Chef Ryan Lister is excited to bring a taste of his culinary roots to downtown Toronto. Within The Dorset’s charming and airy interior, guests are warmly invited to wet their whistles (and their appetites) at the main floor bar; or settle in upstairs for an elevated à la carte or Chef’s tasting menu experience. Choose from three courses for $79 or four courses for $95 and dine with us Monday through Saturday from 5pm. To further enhance your fine dining experience, enjoy curated wine pairings designed to elevate each dish (+$45 for three courses and +$60 for four courses). Participation of the entire table is highly encouraged. Cancellations require 24 hours notice.

    We love coming to the Dorset. The food is great and they are always so sweet with our 3 year old daughter. The cocktails are delicious, and we love the Sunday roast options.

    As always the experience at The Dorset is exceptional. My partner and I have been going there since August of 2024 and it keeps getting better everyone we go. The food, the people, location and space make The Dorset one of if not our favourite restaurant to go to in Toronto. The bar is set pretty high when we go to other restaurants and most of them usually just don’t compare. Whatever you guys are doing at The Dorset please don’t stop. Thank you as always for the amazing experience and friendly welcome we always receive whenever we are there.

    The servings size are big portions especially the dessert. I only had to eat the protein on the 3rd course so I have room for dessert.

    We had the December afternoon tea. The turkey with tiny stuffing finger sandwich was so good. Little Minced pies were a pleasant surprise. The ginger bread cookies and the dark chocolate mini rolled cake work well with the dark English breakfast and Oolong Creme tea. It was a tasteful festive experience! Oh, they got pretty antique cups this time. They are thin and wide proper tea cups. Nice touch!
