   I would recommend the Place for the Great tasting food. The atmosphere was Dope as well. Now as far as the Waiter we had a reservation for 8p was seated and didn't see the waiter until 820p. He wasn't to Welcoming very bland but we did see him more engaging with other tables not sure why. Again once the orders went in the food came and it was Good no complaints at all.

   Great social atmosphere. I did have to talk very loud to my peers. Food was not as good as it looks. Drinks made to perfection.

   The Duplex has been on our list for awhile and I’m happy to say it did not disappoint. It all started with our server Josh S., who was fantastic- he was very personable and attentive without being overbearing, made great suggestions and even brought us a couple after brunch cocktails on the house. The chicken and donuts with hot honey were unbelievable. The chilaquiles with chicken tinga were also very good, just not on the same level. The Bloody Mary was just ok- the bacon was a nice touch but no celery, pickle or olives to really give it flavor. Loved the Blind Monkey banana infused cocktail. All that said, what really made it stand out for us (besides Josh) was the live DJ. It was a bit loud but we loved hearing our old school favorites - it just brought such a great energy to the space.

   Arrived early for our reservation and was told we’d have to wait for that time before being seated. We had no problem doing that. However, the host told us we could not sit at the bar to wait. He told us that they only had one bartender for the whole restaurant. We let him know that we wouldn’t be ordering a drink. He was persistent and said that if we sat there the bartender would think he had to service us. I let him know that we would decline if he walked over to us. It would be nice if there were more than 2 seats to sit and wait at if you’re not going to allow people to wait at the bar for their table. Other than that, we enjoyed our evening. The food was delicious and the wait staff were very nice.

   RSVP for 7:45 didn’t get a table till 8;45 so the waiting was off putting but our host who took our order, Hunter was awesome and the food was great So that made up for the waiting

   Brunch wasn’t bad, music was a little loud, we couldn’t hear each other across the table. Food was good but the price was a little bit more than it should be. We wanted bottomless mimosas, and they didn’t quite have that, they had one bottle and you share it which was okay but I feel like it could have been better with bottomless mimosas at a set price for each person. More options on the menu would have been nice, but the food was good. Server was decent , she didn’t seem like she had much patience with us so it come a bit off like she was ready for us to go when we just got there. Definitely try it, but there can be small improvements.

   The food was good but the service leaves much to be desired. I also think the automatic 20% gratuity is wild, but to suggest additional tip for the server solely is pure madness. 2.5/5 - I doubt I’ll return as a customer, but it was alright for what it was.
