    The place is beautiful. Our server was very nice but they were not staffed properly so things took a little longer than we would’ve liked. Our appetizers were good but our main dishes were totally not worth their expensive price. The churrasco had to be remade because the meat wasn’t good and smelled foul. I wouldnt go out of my way to return

    Pretty poor experience. The food took nearly 45 minutes. We only ordered a chicken sandwich and a pizza. When we told the manager about the poor experience, he was dismissive instead of apologetic. Pretty unprofessional and poor quality considering the prices.

    I am extremely disappointed with the dinner and overall experience on New Year's Eve. My party and I arrived at 8:30 p.m. for our 9:30 p.m. reservation, but we were not seated until 10:00 p.m. The delays didn’t stop there—our first appetizer didn’t arrive until 10:40 p.m., and our main course was served at 11:47 p.m. To make matters worse, one dish we ordered never even arrived. The pork dish was incredibly dry, and the presentation was uninspired—it looked like the food was simply thrown onto the plate with no care. We barely had enough time to finish our meal before midnight, which completely ruined the celebratory atmosphere of ringing in the new year. What made this even more frustrating was that we traveled all the way from New York to enjoy a special experience with our family, only to be met with poor organization and an underwhelming meal. It was a terrible experience, and I cannot express how disappointed we are. I expected so much more from a venue of this caliber. Would not recommend.

    Bad choice for New Year’s Eve celebration! Seating hour was supposed to be at 9:30pm, they seat our party of four at 10:45pm because I insisted, the host told me that I was going to received a txt message when our table was ready that I never received !! then….wait and wait for the first course, food was cold, they were super disorganized and giving excuses for the delay! They served the dessert almost at midnight! Unacceptable!

    We’ve always had great experiences at Eclipse in the past. Last year, we attended their Thanksgiving dinner, and it was an absolute delight! Naturally, we decided to try the New Year’s seven-course dinner experience this year, given the excellent service and food we’ve come to expect. Unfortunately we left feeling disappointed. The evening started well, with the first two courses—salads—served promptly within 15 min of us being seated. They were delicious and gave us hope for the rest of the meal. However, things quickly unraveled. The subsequent courses were severely delayed, to the point where we had to request our third course. When it finally arrived, the dishes were not as hot as they should have been. This was especially disappointing with items like the morcilla, which lacked the heat and crispness that elevate its flavor and texture. Adding to the frustration, the waitstaff appeared overwhelmed, likely due to the kitchen’s delays. The system of sharing waiters between tables did not work well, and smaller parties like ours seemed to receive less attention compared to larger groups. This imbalance was disheartening, especially given the price of the experience. The evening ended on an underwhelming note with a dessert that was bland and uninspired, falling far short of the finale we were hoping for. To top it off, while a waitress did eventually apologize as she handed us the check, the timing and delivery of the apology felt misplaced. It would have been more meaningful earlier in the evening, accompanied by a gesture to make up for the poor experience—perhaps a complimentary drink or another form of acknowledgment. While we understand that New Year’s can be a challenging night for any restaurant, we expected better planning and execution from Eclipse, given their reputation and the premium cost of this event. We hope they use this feedback to improve for future events, as we’d love to regain the confidence we once had in their dining experiences.

    Third time dining here over the last two weeks. One and only one complaint. I had reserved a waterfront taller over a week ago with the restaurant for a reunion dinner with my son and daughter in law, was assured it would be available at the designated hour, 6pm. When we arrived we were given a different table, it was nice but not what I had been promised. The table I thought I had reserved sat empty for about a half hour and the guests arrived and departed quickly, whilst we enjoyed our dinner. A small thing, but it wasn’t right. This will not deter us from returning, but had to say something that I hope management will read.

    The restaurant itself is beautiful! The ambiance being so close to the ocean was a lively experience, but the service was not the best. We had asked to be moved to a table closer to the ocean view and the server was lovely and said as soon as a table would open she would move us, we waited around an 1 to be moved when other tables were open already and when we let her know she said the tables that were open were reserved and that the restaurant was full, understandably but no one showed up. When she finally moved us, she didn’t ask what we wanted to eat mind you we had already been waiting over an hour, we had to tell her what we wanted in the three hours we were there we only had two drinks and an appetizer before our actual meal was ordered. She was a lovely server and very kind but had it been anyone else I am pretty sure they would have walked out on the restaurant. Like I said lovely restaurant but horrible service and I would have understood if the restaurant was full but it was pretty empty for them not to be able to serve and help us on a timely matter.
