Led by a team of lifelong Chicago restaurant figures, The Evie is a locally-owned upscale dining destination located at the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Led by Partner George Archos (Wildberry Café), Chef-Partner Nick Nitti (Forno Rosso, Lucia Rose, Cucina 3 Italian), and Executive Chef Phil Rubino (Spiaggia, L2O, Cicchetti), the restaurant provides city locals and visitors a place to unwind and indulge while overlooking iconic Michigan Avenue. Named after George’s mother and daughter, the concept puts family at the forefront, with an emphasis on warm, Midwestern hospitality.

Evie offers full lunch/dinner and weekend brunch, presenting a menu of reimagined American classics and city favorites, spotlighting dishes like chef-crafted sushi rolls, freshly baked breads, Chicago-style Wagyu hotdogs, and USDA prime steaks.     Excellent food and service! The best entree of the table was the chili honey salmon. Even the sides were good (smoked carrots, broccolini, mashed potatoes). Bread appetizer was so good we ordered a second one. A lot of dishes had spicy flavors or a spicy kick to it. I was a little underwhelmed with the prime rib sandwich. For dessert we tried the wild berry sorbet and tres leches cake. The cake was tasty but not quite dense enough for all the liquid and the sorbet was delicious and refreshing, generously garnished. All in all we had an excellent experience.

    Lake Superior White Fish and Salmon were great. Definitely get the bread! And the sushi was excellent. Smoked carrots were a treat. Lots of seating. Service was flawless.

    We were greeted warmly when we arrived, seated promptly and had a wonderful server (Jesus). He made wonderful recommendations and we enjoyed our dinners and wine. Great experiences.

    The happy hour was very confusing. Had to sit in a certain spot to take advantage of happy hour menu when it wasn’t true last time. Some mixed drinks were allowed some were not. Overall it was a good experience, but very confusing. We’ll try again now that we kind of understand how it goes.

    Our second visit to The Evie, and we will definitely be back! Loved everything g from the seafood platter to dessert, highlights definitely include the “(something) pillows” and the deconstructed key lime pie!

    We loved the restaurant and want to go back. We were in Chicago for the weekend. It was one of the highlights of the visit.

    Wow what a win. Picked the Evoe after some minor recon. It felt so cozy and warm. Had a booth and Mussels/clams app and sushi roll. Outstanding! Main course tenderloin for me whitefish for her, smoked carrots. All were outstanding! I would highly recommend!
