   Our dinner at The Farmhouse was disappointing. Although the service and ambience were good, the food did not meet our expectations. We ordered the Harvest Salad to share as a starter. This was a full size salad but the portion size was more like a half. The salad itself was quite tasty, but just not enough we felt for the price. For my entree I chose the Colorado Bass and the waitress was very accommodating in allowing me to substitute another side for the risotto it came with. However, the bass and the squash puree that was my chosen side, were both disappointing. The bass was mainly skin with very little fish flakes while the squash puree was to buttery, and not very appetizing. The crispy kale and olive tapenade were a tiny little garnish on the fish. My husband ordered the Farmhouse Burger with fries as a side. The burger he thought was very mediocre and as were the fries. Not impressed, we wont be going back to the Farmhouse in a hurry!

   Great food and cozy ambiance! Loved the holiday decorations and the food was amazing! Especially the biscuits!

   The food was amazing! The elk meatloaf was super flavorful and the bass was flaky and moist. The olive tapenade added salt and extra flavor without overpowering the delicate fish. We got duck fat tots and truffle parm Brussels sprouts during happy hour for appetizers. Be warned! These are extremely generous sizes!!! It was a wonderful dinner that even our 14 year old enjoyed! We will be back to try the brunch menu!

   The noise from the other tables was deafening and gave me a headache. I couldn’t enjoy the meal cause of it.

   We had a great breakfast this morning! We sat upstairs and I had a great visit with my daughter and nieces. The manager is very nice. Great morning!🙂

   Always a pleasure dining and Jessup Farms! Every time we have people visiting, we go there. For some reason, we have been coming here for years and have yet to dine upstairs! But the downstairs is lovely and a great option when you have kids because they can watch the kitchen and they LOVE that. The seats with the "couch" option is so comfortable and really makes you feel like you're in a cozy setting. We missed having any specials at all offered and would have loved that but the menu is always great.

   I booked the reservation through Open Table and clearly said in the communicate with restaurant that we were celebrating a birthday. This was never acknowledged… The food was good. I had fried chicken which was well seasoned. The roast chicken my husband had was disappointing to him. Our issue had to do more with service, our appetizers came when we still had the menus on the table ( which was small) It was some time before our waitress came over and asked about dinner and removed the menus.The dinner came and the young man was about to put those plates down while the appetizer plates were still on the table. I had to ask him to please remove our appetizer dishes before setting the plates down. If the table was bigger or the service more customer focused, none of this would be an issue.

    We have been to Jessup Farm multiple and have never been disappointed until now. We were taking friends there as a thank you (it was their first time) and we were all disappointed in the the food and service. Sadly, it will be our last time there and they won't go back either.
