   Went there for the first time for NY Eve and had a wonderful time! Food was delicious and the set menu had lots of great options. The butter cake is incredible and the decor for the event was festive and fun! We’ll definitely be back!

   Second NYE we booked here. Our server was fabulous. Pre fixe menu, which we were aware. $75 per person for a small appetizer and a full size entree and dessert. Appetizer was ok, entree was good and dessert was a butter cake the size of a cupcake, smelled delicious but dry very hot, once it cooled off it was literally an unedible brick. With drinks not included and an inedible dessert it was $75 for a 3 shrimp cocktail and an entree that would normally cost $25-35. 20% tip was included and that was only ok bc our server deserved it. The overall value of food for cost was not comparable. Will go somewhere else next time.

   1 out of five star value for NYE. My family and extended family eat here once a month. We hit the bourbon, old fashions, a bottle or two of wine, oysters, bang bang shrimp, and steaks hard. We are not unfamiliar with this restaurant. The NYE three course meal for $75 a person was a complete rip-off. Dec 31st is the first time I’ve walked away from a restaurant feeling insulted. Here’s what I got per $75 plate: 11 bang bang shrimp (about the 1/6 the size of a normal appetizer that’s twice the cost), a 4 oz fillet that came out with little to no seasoning/blackning/flavor that tasted like it was under a heat lamp for an hour, 10 green beans, yes ten green beans, a toddler sized fist of cold mash potatoes, and for desert a muffin that looked like it came from HEB. My wife had similar portions. My toddlers meal was admirable compared to the three course meal. Adding insult to injury, a 20% gratuity was auto applied. I don’t mind auto gratuity when and only when the food is of quality. We should have went to Pearl and Vine that’s near or Eddie Vs for a big, hot meal at under the cost of the total bill. Complete worst value and underwhelming dinner I have ever paid for. At $300, I walked away hungry and sober. One terrible experience is enough for me to take my business to either of these places mentioned above, going forward. Dec 31st 2024 will always be remembered as getting ripped off at Federal American Grill, the once beloved place of our family.

   I always love coming to The Federal Grill! They have some of the best customer service. We are planning a shower here and everyone has been so helpful! The food is always delicious!

   Went a couple of days before Christmas 2024, 8pm. Place had a handful of other tables filled, so noise was present but not bad. Food choices are varied enough for discerning palettes. But the web menu for this place is what impressed me-descriptions and pictures for most if not all items. Our server was polite, made suggestions, and knew enough about menu to answer questions about it. We are planning a return to this restaurant.

   food was good for a party of 10 we kind of should of seen our waiter more than we did he should of taken our order as soon as the appetizers landed on our table maybe he was green

   After we were seated we waited ten minutes and had to ask someone who our waiter was. Even after we finally got a waiter we had to ask every time we needed a refill. He did not take the initiative to do anything without being asked. The food was okay but nothing special. Overall I will not be going back.

    Service was slow and seemed like our waiter disappeared at times also didn’t seem to know the menu as you would expect the waiter to, the food was SO GOOD.
