   We were a large group and when we originally arrived at the restaurant, they had set our table up in the bar area, which I had specifically requested not to do when I made the reservation. Even on a very busy night, the restaurant was quickly able to adjust and seat us in the dining area. The waitress was great, and the owner himself made a point of stopping by and speaking with us and even sent us a complementary order of nachos. Overall, the restaurant went out of their way to make this a great experience for everyone attending.

   My first time was almost a complete disappointment. First, we had to wait for someone to greet us even though we made our presence known. Once seated we had to wait again for menus. We were completely ignored by the wait staff. We finally flagged someone down. My chowder arrived without a spoon. Once spoon arrived I asked server to remain while I tested the chowder's temperature. As suspected it was barely luke warm. Another chowder arrived hot. Tasted good, but not the best I've had. Large portion of fish and chips. Fish was good. Fries could have been crispier for my taste. Took half my meal home. Will airfry it tomorrow for lunch. Meal came with piece of cheesecake. Took that home too. I will give them another try someday. Service was horrible. Waitress we had could use some training on how to treat guests. She was terrible.

   We made a reservation and still had to wait for our table about 10-15 minutes, so not to bad. It was a Saturday evening, so understandable. Most of the food was excellent, tasty and well prepared. One item was not particularly very good. It's a friendly, light-hearted atmosphere, that adds to the enjoyment. The staff were all very good. I would recommend it anytime!

   Great service & food. I’ve only visited a few times but without fail I run into a friend from long ago every time. This is a special place in more ways than one. The other patrons, the staff & the food all had a great vibe.
