The Fool’s Lantern is St. Michaels’ first and only self-serve wine & taproom. With our unique "Drink Wall", customers can sample a selection of wine and beer, each dispensed at the push of a button. This unique, self-serve option lets the customers select a sip, a taste, or a glass, allowing them to discover what they like best. Once they find their favorite, guests can enjoy a glass or more, order from the menu, and even purchase bottles to take home. Our drink wall will change periodically so you’ll never have the same experience twice! Our menu consists of a variety of small plates, charcuterie, flatbreads, sandwiches, dips, and desserts.

If you haven’t eaten here before, this is a must try ! Prices reasonable for the quality meal you will receive. Service excellent, welcoming, quick. The food…Well I’m a crab cake and soup snob. Both were the best I have had in years. Chef is a soup genius! The wine and beer on tap is unique and brilliant! Can’t begin to explain how cool it was. Elegant, high end wines on tap. Who knew! Awesome selection to choose from or taste them all. Highly recommend! Go, you will not regret it!

The staff are so friendly and attentive! We ordered a bunch of shareables - spanakopita, tenderloin sliders, crab dip, Brussel sprouts, and avocado deviled eggs - they were all great. I think my favorite was the crab dip. The only thing I was sad we didn’t get to try was the vino board bc they were out of the ingredients but overall was a wonderful time and great food! I would definitely come back here again.

Very neat concept with excellent food options and drinks. We were very happy with all of the food items we chose and enjoyed the different beer and wine options. Would definitely recommend!

Overall good. Bar wall is fun and getting try different beers and wine, but can get costly. Service was great and staff friendly. Food good, but I don't think worth price.

Delicious food. Fabulous service. They have a pour your own wine and beer. Which i have never seen before. There are several dispensaries along the wall. Great way to try different wines or beers. Friday nights they have a game night where you guess the most popular answer to questions. Competing with other diners. Had a wonderful time.
