Established in 1970 by the late Mike and Kay Tinios, the Galley Hatch has been a seacoast favorite restaurant for 50 years. An extensive menu offers traditional American Food highlighting New England seasonality and serves lunch and dinner daily. Collectively, the Three Dining rooms, Tap Room, and four season Lower Deck, provide seating for over 400 guests. Not really impressed with it. Husband got fried oysters which were good and our daughter had volka chicken parm special which was good .

                                                                                                              The prime rib was outstanding. The fillet was very disappointing. I ordered a fillet medium rare the first one came out charred on the outside and dry on the inside. The second one came back charred on the outside but sill moist on the inside. Sadly, this was the worst fillet I have ever been served. The taste of the burnt outside of the overwhelmed the flavor of the meat and tasted like a charcoal briquette. This is a one off usually the food is excellent, and I hope they just had a new chef who did not know how to cook a fillet.
