   Staff were standing around doing nothing which made u feel uncomfortable. No one told us about the special board. Pepperoni sauce was too spicy

   We visited Friday evening with a friend who is ill and needs a wheelchair. The staff were magnificent, helping with access and really caring. The food was superb and it all added up to a fantastic evening out. Many thanks and well done all at The Gate.

   What a truly amazing food experience and a really well run restaurant. From our starters through mains to dessert everything was well cooked, the presentation was fantastic and the staff well trained and interactive with the customers. We will most definitely be going back. I would advise booking in advance as it was pretty much at capacity.
