    We occasionally visit and the food is always spot on with number one in my book. Served hot! Reasonably priced and portions are good too. It is comfortable with a nice ambience and was decorated lovely for Christmas.

    This is the second time I have had lunch at The Gate with friends The staff are very welcoming and efficient The food is very good well presented and hot Will definitely book again for our next ladies who lunch

    There were several waiters/waitresses standing around but not once did any of them come over to our table to ask how our meals were.
