   We went for my birthday and the food was delicious. The waitress was not as attentive as I think she should have been. We asked for more prosecco and it never came. We had to ask again. There seems to have been a lot going on in the hotel that day but we will try it again. The vibe there is great and so was the food for Sunday brunch

   Do not recommend for a large group for Sunday brunch. Management was rude on the phone and in person regarding reservations for 10. Service was very slow and inaccurate. Food was decent but not as ordered - ‘medium’ was cooked well done. Vegetable omelets included meat despite a conversation with the server that no meat was important.

   Incredible meal and stellar service! Chef Alex’s menu is perfection, offering various dishes that delight the palate. Highly recommend ordering the scallops and pork cheeks. I’m going to be pleasantly haunted by the deliciousness of this meal!

   What a lovely place for a fancy dinner date! The service was fantastic, the food incredible. (Highly recommend the seared scallops and Earl Grey creme brulee!) Gotta have a special shout-out for the cocktails from the Cypress Bar, too. I usually find it difficult to finish an entire cocktail, but "Sage Advice" was probably the best mixed drink I've ever had.

   This was our second trip here. The Gloriette is a beautiful venue, but we were a little disappointed in that the service was slow, the food arrived lukewarm which is a great disappointment. Prices are competitive, however. I think this business model needs to be revisited. My opinion is rather than have an attempt at fine dining this place could accomplish much more with a toned-down menu, i.e. casual dining, sandwiches, gumbo, soup, a meat and three type dishes. I don't think this restaurant is as competitive in Covington as it should be because of their effort at gourmet dining.
