   We were seated in the dining area in the back. Unfortunately the light on our table didn’t work, which I pointed out, but the waitress just took it away and didn’t replace it. Difficult to read the menu with old eyes in the dark! Service was so-so. We just had a main course, food was ok but I would say overpriced. Husband’s fish was fine but didn’t come with anything so was a pretty small portion for £18. It was fine, and convenient for where we were going later, but I wouldn’t rush back

   I had afternoon tea with my family and I cannot recommend it enough. The food and cakes were delicious and so fresh, everything was presented beautifully. The staff were very helpful and attentative. The decor is lovely and the toilets were clean and tidy. We can't wait to go again.

   2nd time having afternoon tea here. Did not do appoint . Not as much selection this time . Haggis sausage rolls are lovely if you like haggis! Husband does but l don’t . I just wanted a plain sausage roll ! Scones not as fresh as previous visit . Still a lovely tea and will return .

   Brunch sandwich and cake selection was varied and plentiful to begin with. Sadly the profiteroles (my favourite) ran out before I could get some and weren't replenished before we left Service was a little slow in terms of receiving our drinks and the extra milk my wife asked for never actually arrived Despite this not being the 'perfect' experience we still had a great time and would definitely return

   Family lunch enjoyed by 4 adults and one very happy toddler. Bar/restaurant was fairly quiet as expected post Christmas, however, the staff were on excellent form and made us very welcome. The food was excellent in both portion and quality ensuring a promt return is most definitely on the horizon. Thanks

    Fabulous afternoon. The hotel only had 3 afternoon teas booked in so offered us lunch for 4 people instead. Great value for money. Lovely choice. Nice setting. Staff are so helpful and friendly. One of our favourite hotels in Glasgow. We’ll definitely be back.
