The choice on menu good. Potatoe dish did not strive when we asked they arrived overcooked inedible . It was far from warm our table in front of fire but not been stoked. No artificial sweetener for coffee. We certainly didn’t feel special . Church pews uncomfy

The venue is lovely, and beautifully decimated for Christmas. Very festive. The layout is good as it feels spacious, with ample space between tables. The food was delicious, and good value. Delicious desserts! The service was good, but could be a bit more attentive.

I was very disappointed with my meal. I had the lamb and it was incredibly salty. My mother had the same and couldn’t eat it. Also the kale was very tough. The manager was very polite and offered to change it. He also said we weren’t the only people to complain about the salt. It was a great pity as I have eaten there on several occasions and have been very happy with my meal. I also found the staff to be very inexperienced and our table was left with dirty dishes on it which they didn’t seem to notice!!
