   Food was very good. We had two starters mussels & smoked salmon & crab wanton. Gorgeous. Fillet steak & smashed pork belly. All very tasty. We shared desert of affragato. Ice cream & espresso coffeepoured over it. Delicious. Service was very attentive & friendly. Really felt that our business was appreciated. We will comeback.

   We had a rare date night at this new venue and it was a gorgeous evening. The menu had so much choice, it was hard to pick. The scallops, prawns and steak were all cooked perfectly. Wine was delicious. Service was fab and we can't wait to go back

   We arrived on time and received a warm welcome. The menu was explained and we placed the order. Starters, olives and garlic mushrooms (served chilled) arrived 25 minutes later . Our main meal arrived 35 minutes later. Kilmore Quay scallops were tender with a good flavour. The 4oz fillet steak was very tender , the accompanying vegetables, a small portion of mashed potato and 1 shallot looked rather miserable on the plate. We also ordered smashed new potatoes which were plentiful and buttered generously. We had a selection of staff members looking after us, we would have preferred to have a dedicated member of staff. We visit the area annually for the Wexford Opera Festival a return visit to the restaurant is under consideration.

   We had beautiful evening in the ground and I have to say the food the service the friendly staff were amazing we’re going back to pick out the lobster well done guys complements to chef

   Had a lovely evening meal in The Grounds thanks to all the staff who are extremely pleasant and very helpful. Nice food and wine menus with plenty of choice. Sampled and shared many small plates of scrumptious fresh food which was beautifully presented and served very efficiently. Would certainly recommend The Grounds. We will definitely be back to sample more of those very tasty small and large plates 👌 Best of luck to all concerned 👏

    This was our first dining experience and certainly won’t be out last. From the moment we stepped inside the restaurant we were greeted with a genuine welcome. The decor is very tasteful and a rustic ambiance which leans itself to a relaxed and quirky atmosphere, even the staff uniforms were rustic and blended into the decor. The menu was exciting varied and so very enjoyable. The small plates suited us and we tried almost everything on the menu. As a Prosecco drinker I can absolutely confirm that I had the nicest Prosecco I ever tasted. Desert was mouthwatering. We talked for ages after our meal and never felt rushed our in the way. We enjoyed the food so much that we went back for breakfast the next morning, the food again was tasty and varied. Well done to everyone concerned, you’re going to be a great success
