   Amazing experience each time - the staff go above and beyond. Love how they check if there are any allergies and will let the chef know! Always a fun and welcoming atmosphere with delicious food each time - also didn’t need to wait long at all for the food especially since they were fully booked! I’ve been coming to the Grounds Alexandria for over 10years and love how there are different themes throughout the year!

   I have always really enjoyed the grounds but today it was very disappointing. We had a late lunch booked for a group of 8. When we got there, they had run out of most main meals (literally like 5 out of 8 meals had ‘run out’) and ALL desserts were finished. It was quite embarrassing as I had selected the venue and people were very excited to try certain items on the menu. The service was friendly but food was very average. Will not be back. Wouldn’t expect this at a popular, highly regarded venue.

   All just fabulous!! We 3 (84, 65 and 23) loved everything. The 23 yr old had never been and she just loved how everything was set up for the ‘Sugarplum Fsiry’ theme. We all loved our meals and the service was great.

   We loved the ambiance and the food, but the experience could be improved if the server were more accommodating and informed us in advance about the sold-out dishes. That way, we could make better choices right away.

   Food was amazing. Service was great. The exhibit was pretty cramped and busy; could have had more space or wider walking area. The directions to the restaurants was lacking so had to ask staff where to go and had to walk through a sitting area which was a bit awkward. But the staff were very friendly and helpful despite being busy. All in all I do highly recommend it was a great experience and food was amazing.

   Great food & great value for money. It’s noisey but the atmosphere is great. The installation was unbelievable!

   I booked with 15 days in advance, and when we arrived for our booking at 3 pm, a woman came running, threw herself at the table, and said, "You have 15 minutes to place your order before the kitchen closes." She kept rushing us, and after only 10 minutes, the food arrived, and they brought us the bill right away. They kept coming to the table with the card machine and asked, "Will it be card or cash?" We felt really uncomfortable and didn’t understand why we were being hurried. By 3:40 pm, we were already out, and everything was closed. We couldn’t visit the BBQ area or see the animals because it was all shut down. It was a horrible experience, especially because we were with an elderly person, which made it even more disappointing.

   Was nice to spend the time with friends. However very hard to get waitresses attention for water or more drinks.

    The Grounds are so overrated. Don't go there on a hot day, you can barely breathe. Ate at the cafe and it was so hot and stuffy. Food was bland and nothing fascinating. The Sugarplum Christmas Display was quite pretty but very crowded. Honestly won't be going back any time soon.
