The Guinea is a Mayfair institution; there’s been an Inn on this site since 1423. Our restaurant, the Guinea Grill opened in 1952. We specialise in serving dry aged, grass fed English beef from an open grill. You’ll find a selection of Young’s Ales at the bar and our atmospheric private dining room is perfect for up to 28 people.

We’re ideally located just a short walk away from Green Park, Bond Street and Oxford Circus tube stations.

The food is good but not exceptional. The sommelier was incredibly rude and aggressive. Avoid.

The ambiance as always was excellent as well as the service. My one disappointment was the quality of our steaks which were over seasoned with salt ands slightly over cooked. What we really appreciated was our waitress accepting that feed back and offering to give us desert for free. I love the guinea and will be back and appreciate the service but I think the kitchen was under too much pressure on this occasion. See you soon. Ronan

Booked breakfast a week or so beforehand. Got telephone call at 1142 the evening before the booking to be told the Guinea does not do breakfast - bad service.
