   This was my first time here and the first thing I noticed was it had a very welcoming atmosphere. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks. However apparently we were not paying close attention to the prices. My friend had ordered "a glass of chardonnay" and said "sure" to whatever the waitress suggested. We were not expecting them to be $16 for a 3oz pour!!?! We were not expecting the "still water" that was suggested to be $9(we'll be sure to order tap water next time). We were not expecting there to be a 3% surcharge -- that was then included in the "total" that was used to calculate sales tax?!? Charging tax on a service charge?!?!? We asked for it to be removed and it was, but all of these things left a bad taste in our mouth. We are both professional mature women who frequent the Burr Ridge area and restaurants . We were thinking we'd like to come back but next time we'll be sure to ask for full disclosure upfront.

   For the money. This place is not worth it. Very limited menus and very overpriced. That’s why on a Saturday night only 10 tables were filled.

   It was my birthday so we came to my favorite establishment to celebrate. The food was amazing. We got the costal experience sea shell and it was perfect. The new recipe for the Hampton frose is also very divine. Paul was the bomb.com

    Hampton Social is the spot we go to when we don't want to risk trying a new spot, but want to have an adult beverage with a solid meal. Everything was great that we ordered from the special restaurant week menu. Special mention for the clam chowder which was delicious and that paired well with the East Coast oysters. Espresso martini was great as usual. Mikayla did an awesome job taking care of us.
