We were incredibly disappointed. While the outdoor area had a great vibe, our waiter was awful. He was rude, not attentive, and barely paid us any attention. I don’t think he ever asked if we needed anything or said any type of goodbye when we left. He was annoyed that our 8 year old had a dairy allergy and also completely clueless, telling us they had gluten free bread. I asked him twice across 20 minutes to please ask, and he only supposedly did eventually once I asked another waitress. The salads were also incredibly small for 24 dollars. This trip was very disappointing compared to our last time there.

Food was very good. Service was poor. Waitress did not check up on us, had to ask for refills several times, our food took a long time to come out. was there for almost two hours due to how slow the food took to come out, then got rushed out. The waitress dropped the check before we were done eating, did not ask if we were ready for it. Started clearing the table at we were still trying to finish, said we were her last table and she was ready to leave. Then the hostess came up to ask if we were done or seeing what was going on, my family and I were trying to finish our drinks before we left. Felt very rushed my the staff meanwhile it was their service that was slow.

Enjoyed a delicious Mother's Day Brunch (had the caprese salad with salmon) My son's steak was mostly fatty (got the steak and eggs) which was disappointing. Other dishes that were enjoyed were the bourbon ham and the blueberry pancakes. The bloody marys were average. We dined outside, but we weren't given a table with an umbrella which was VERY disappointing since we had reservations, and there were other tables that had umbrellas. The host didn't seem to care. It was quite sunny and uncomfortable 30 minutes into our lunch. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The ambience is charming.

Beautiful day, lovely venue, warm and friendly service. Mother’s Day was busy, but we were in no rush! Such a gem of a place to dine among family and friends!

Love the ambiance and decor, but I’m a sucker for 19th century charm, and this place has it! Food is of good quality (and was timely) but falls short of standout or amazing (we’ve eaten here numerous times over 13 years, and the food has been consistent in quality) Service on this occasion I would say was ‘okay.’ We’ve had bad service here and great service here, so I’d say service overall is hit or miss / not consistent. They did accommodate us arriving 30 minutes before our scheduled reservation, so that was greatly appreciated. I will also add, all of the employees we encountered had a pleasant demeanor, so that was also appreciated and made for an enjoyable dining experience.
