I felt the waiter was over worked and did not have time to really engage with questions about the food. The appetizers were good but the main course meat was just ok. The desert and coffee were of an ordinary quality. Not what I remember as the quality I have experienced at the Highlawn before. Maybe Christmas was just a stressful night.

Server took a while to come over & introduce himself, drinks took 45 min. Apps came out before drinks. Duck carbanara was bland, tasted like pasta water. Server took it off the bill. No gentle background music. View was nice. Save your money. Overrated “fine dining”, didn’t feel special at all.

Just a fabulous evening, photos of friends and family in an exquisitely decorated fairytale setting, excellent food, picturesque views of NYC and Northern New Jersey, really a treat and a top restaurant hitting all high marks!

Brunch with Santa was a hit with our family. Santa was engaging & entertaining. My five year old loved him! Food and ambiance are always special at the Highlawn

We went to this event last year and it was great. This year the food was not as good and they cut back on many things especially when it came to the food. Unfortunately we will not be going back to the Santa Brunch event.

We were a party of 4 for dinner and the food and service were amazing! It was a little loud for our friends an older couple but nonetheless we enjoyed our experience and highly recommend the place.

Our experience was just ok. Not terrible not wonderful. The majority of window seats were reserved for large parties so getting one was impossible. The line about you can see the view from the mirrors was really annoying. Our server was outstanding. We never felt rushed on a busy night. Food is just mediocre. My son in law loved the duck but the pasta dishes had very little flavor.
